They talked about how myrtle doesnt like her husband and that she shouldnt have married him. then, tom breaks myrtles nose for saying his wifes name over and over to prove that she cant just do what she wants.This shows that they still live in a sexist society. Tom doesnt care about anyone, he disregards anyone's feelings.
APRIL 21 JOURNAL
Today, i got the chance to cook a meal for my nephews since i take care of them. I always make them food, but its always packaged food so i don't really get to be creative with it. But this time i got to cook chicken with my own seasoning and my own instructions. It took some time but it was pretty fun and the kids loved it.
