Gatsby tells nick that he stayed there till 4:30 in the morning,gatsby says that daisy was just with him because gatsby left and that she never loved him. Nick tells Gatsby to go away, gatsby rejects the suggestion because he couldnt possibly leave daisy. Gatsby says that he was poor and daisy was rich so he kinda hid that from daisy as they fell in love with eahother and then he went to war. daisy didnt really care who she got married to, she just wanted her life to be perfect. the gardener interrupting Gatsby was added to the story to insinuate that things die in the autumn season, Gatsby wanted to swim at least once in his own pool because he didnt want what he had with Daisy to die out the action - Mr. Wilson going to find Gatsby- Gatsby got shot by Wilson and then Wilson killed himself

Gatsby stops having parties because there was rumors about him. Gatsby then fires his staff because he wanted people that dont gossip and then replaced them with people that are rude and not servants at all. daisy tells tom to go get them drinks then kisses Gatsby while he's gone. Daisy's reaction to her daughter is different from Gatsby's reaction because Gatsby was really surprised and in shock to see her.  The confrontation between Tom and Gatsby was pretty direct, tom straight up told him what was up and gatsby told him daisy didnt love him. I think gatsby won because he got daisy to admit she didnt love tom. On the way back to long island, they stopped at Wilson's house to later find out that myrtle got ran over by a car by daisy. At the end of the chapter, Tom and Daisy are talking again.

There was a rumor that Gatsby lived not in a house, but in a boat that looked like a house that moved secretly up and down the long island shore.That he changed his name at the age of 17. Cody is a 50 year old man from Nevada, Cody hired Gatsby as his personal assistant were friends but then Cody died from alcohol. because of Cody, Gatsby drank very little. And it was from Cody that he inherited 25,000 but he couldn't get them because of Cody's mistress. Gatsby, tom  and Mr. Sloane don't really like each other but still hang out with each other. Gatsby's tom's and daisy's experience at the party was pretty awkward. daisy was not really having a good time, Gatsby thinks he can get daisy because of his money. but i dont really think daisy's that type of person. gatsby expects her to go to tom and tell him she never loved him but its really not that simple.

The author includes rain because its like the energy in the mood. Gatsby likes to be around "celebrated people". Daisy cry's because she missed out on being with Gatsby. Gatsby and Daisy end up alone in a room.

I asked these questions because they seemed to be the main thing that happened in the chapter. here are the questions they got right: where did nick move to? why?

chap 1- where did nick move to?why?  chap 2- what is the name of Tom's mistress?  chap 3- what did nick think of Gatsby?  chap 4- why is Gatsby so uncomfortable around tom? 

gatsby knows people talk about him. he tells nick his story but nick doesn't buy it, but it seemed to be  true. nick is pretty racist. Meyer Wolfshiem is a gambler. then gatsby disappears for no reason during lunch. then we found out that daisy and gatsby have history together.

 the girls are still talking about gatsby. all the people that came to gatsby's party are rich, or famous but are incredibly unhappy. we find out that gatsby is nervous on the car ride and he is insecure about what people think of him.

the two girls were saying that gatsby once murdered a man. nick calls  the man in gatsby's library a belasco. He imagined a middle aged , imposing, and husky old man. Jordan is dishonest. They plan on going boating.

my goal is to finish highschool and start college.

They talked about how myrtle doesnt like her husband and that she shouldnt have married him. then, tom breaks myrtles nose for saying his wifes name over and over to prove that she cant just do what she wants.This shows that they still live in a sexist society. Tom doesnt care about anyone, he disregards anyone's feelings.

For my big question, im going to research about why people still have the idea that weed is bad for you.

We met myrtle (toms girlfriend), she has a husband abut she messes around with tom.she decides she wants a dog and tom gets it for her.'

Tom Buchanan is pretty cocky and a racist. Daisy is all about herself and has a daughter that she does not like because she is a girl. And Miss baker doesnt talk much.

Nick from The Great Gatsby was born in Connecticut but later moved to west egg, long island. he had a dog but it ended up running away, so he became lonely. He is neighbors with a guy named Gatsby.

My big question is about why people think marijuana is bad for you when there are studies that show that weed is actually helping with people medical problems. Now whats in it for me?well im just curious to know more of this topic because my mom is really against weed and i want to know her perspective on things.
