NOTES AND THOUGHTS ON GATSBY CHP 7

Gatsby stops having parties because there was rumors about him.
Gatsby then fires his staff because he wanted people that dont gossip and then replaced them with people that are rude and not servants at all. daisy tells tom to go get them drinks then kisses Gatsby while he's gone.
Daisy's reaction to her daughter is different from Gatsby's reaction because Gatsby was really surprised and in shock to see her. 
The confrontation between Tom and Gatsby was pretty direct, tom straight up told him what was up and gatsby told him daisy didnt love him. I think gatsby won because he got daisy to admit she didnt love tom.
On the way back to long island, they stopped at Wilson's house to later find out that myrtle got ran over by a car by daisy.
At the end of the chapter, Tom and Daisy are talking again.

APRIL 21 JOURNAL

Today, i got the chance to cook a meal for my nephews since i take care of them. I always make them food, but its always packaged food so i don't really get to be creative with it. But this time i got to cook chicken with my own seasoning and my own instructions. It took some time but it was pretty fun and the kids loved it.

My Learning Fall and Rise

       I have changed a lot over the past 4 months. This class has changed my views on teachers and the way I view schoolwork. When I first entered this class, I didn’t expect it to be different than any other English class I’ve had. My plan was to sit in the corner, participate as little as possible, do my book work and get a C in the class. I didn’t have respect for teachers and my only purpose in school was to learn as much as I could and go home. When we were asked to choose how the course would run, I was a little sketched out, I thought he was testing us or something, but he even went out of the room and gave us time to choose.
