MARCH 24 JOURNAL

I have never had this happen to me before so i wouldn't know exactly how i would act but i can say that if someone were to make fun of my lunch i would probably not care and continue to enjoy my food, simply because it doesn't matter what food I'm eating as long as i got food in my stomach I'm good and also because I don't care about ignorant people's opinion.

I think teaching someone else to do something is easier than perfecting something yourself. if you know what needs to be done to learn that certain thing than you just have to guide them through it, but when you are trying to learn something it is more difficult because it can result in a fight within yourself.

let me walk you through the pedestrian

     Ray Bradbury wrote "the pedestrian" after he had an incident with the cops. He was walking down a street when a cop pulled up and questioned his actions, he was arrested that night and when he went home he was furious, so he wrote. In his story he expressed what had happened to him and also threw in his thoughts on technology. He did this by using the character and tone in the story.      Bradbury uses his tone to set a lonely, creepy sort of feeling when you read it. He does this by including that it was a misty evening in November. he also mentions he's "all alone in this world of 2053 A.D." He uses the simplest details to ensure this dark feeling to his story. When Bradbury includes "The street was silent and long and empty," he wants us to feel creeped out by the unknown and the silence.       This story uses the character as a way to show how technology has changed us.
